There will be major roadworks on the A382 starting 25th September 2025 with a road closure and diversion affecting anyone trying to get to the nursery from Newton Abbot (A38/Bovey Tracey direction will be unaffected). Sara says she hopes that everyone will still be able to come to the nursery during this time and find a way around the diversions. It will just mean allowing a little extra time for your journeys.

16th November – Phileus Fogg a chat with Ron around the world in 80 clicks
Our thanks to Ron for telling us of the journey undertaken by American female journalist ‘Nellie Bly’ in 1890 that inspired Jules Verne to write his novel ‘Around the World in Eighty Days’ and for pointing out some of the wonderous orchids Phileus Fogg or indeed Nellie for that matter, might have spotted on their respective journeys had either of them only had the time to do so.
